During this race, both Buckholtz and Tindall wore the white helmets, After viewing the August 11, 2008, robbery video, Buckholtz believes the helmet used in the robbery is the same or very similar to the helmet he and Tindall wore as Conroe Police Association go-cart drivers during the races. Although the helmets used during the go-cart races featured black letters that spelled out "Cycle Shack North," Buckholtz stated the letters were merely stuck onto the helmet and easily peeled off. One of the helmets was in Buckholtz's possession and he believed that the second helmet and jacket were in the possession of Tindall. Buckholtz advised that although his helmet is missing a visor, both helmets were originally equipped with clear visors. Buckholtz also advised he removed the black "Cycle Shack North” lettering from his helmet some time in the past. Buckholtz released his helmet to me along with a compact dise (CD) of pictures from the 2004 Children's Festival go-cart race. I visually compared the helmet obtained from Buckholtz to pictures of the helmet worn by the robber on the day of the robbery. The comparison revealed several distinct similarities. Specifically, both helmets were white with black trim around the neck area, Both helmets displayed a ventilation duct located toward the bottom left and a ventilation duct located toward the bottom right. There are two logos observable on both helmets. The smaller logo is located near the bottom back on both helmets and a larger oblong logo is observable near the center back of both helmets. Furthermore, during my review of the images contained in the CD of pictures from the 2004 Children's Festival that were provided to me by Buckholtz, I observed a photograph of Tindall wearing a white helmet. In this photograph, Tindall is wearing a white helmet with the words, "Cycle Shack North" on the helmet's side. Except for the wording, this 2004 picture depicts a helmet that is the same or
