EV Fair Session (Friday 27th March 9.30-10.30 am)
 by Pamela ArrarásThisEVFaireventisappropriateforalllevelsbutwillfocusonusingtheseresourcesintheK-12(primary andsecondary)level.IwilldemonstratehowtousevideosavailableonlineonsitessuchasTeacherTube; YouTubeandITunestoteachintegratedskills.Theparticipantswilllearnhowtofind;download;embedand/orstreamvideosavailablefromdifferentonlinesources;andwillbeabletoseeexamplesofactivitiesthatenhancelanguagelearningbyusingauthenticmedia.Activitiesinclude:creativewriting;content- basedteaching;online-basedquizzesthatusevideosasinput;andhowtousevideosinblogs;wikisandlearningmanagementsystemssuchasMoodle.Thedemonstrationwillalsoincludetipsonhowtowork  withtheseresourcesinK-12schoolswheremanyofthesewebsitesareblocked;bylearninghowtodownloadandsavethesevideostoflashdrivesandotherstoringdevices.Ahandoutwithalistofonlineresources will be available in print at the EV Fair and online through GoogleDocs.

Downloading Tools
If your school doesn’t allow you to access the site where the video is located (it happens with You Tubequite often) or you don’t have internet at your school/classroom, you can many times download them to your computer and then take them to school on aUSB flash drive.There are 2 options for downloading videos:a.
