Rescheduled: Lieutenant Governor to commemorate Vimy Ridge in company of Canadian Army cadets
TORONTOIn commemoration of the 96th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge of the First World War, the Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will accept the first commemorative coin struck by the Army Cadet League of Canada (Ontario) marking the occasion and honouring the contributions of Canadians to the war effort. Vimy was a significant moment in the history of Canada, and indeed the world, said His Honour. I am pleased to accept this commemorative coin from Ontario Army cadets. I greatly enjoy serving as Honorary Patron of the Army Cadet League of Canada in Ontario. PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
