On Friday April 12, 2013 a Congressional briefing was held in Washington DC regarding the current trends in research regarding autism and the government appropriations in funding. Without an understanding of the disorder is it difficult to draft appropriate legislation to aide in the health and well being of so many affected patients and their families.
