On behalf of Senior Resource Service, we are proud to present to theTuolumne County community this directory of Senior Services. In thesepages you will find answers to a number of questions concerningactivities, health, housing, nutrition and many other topics of interest toseniors.As our demographics shift to a predominantly older society, familiesoften struggle to care for their elders, their children and other familymembers. Community support becomes more and more crucial inkeeping families vital and healthy as this new age wave hits. Our seniors and our senior services must grow and help one another to meet therapidly expanding needs of our aging population.Seniors are a valuable resource to our community. Our seniors not onlyutilize the services in this directory but help conceive and provide newinnovative services. By participating in the life of our community throughvolunteering or through civic engagement, utilizing past experiences andvast knowledge, our seniors contribute and help shape and improveconditions for their fellow seniors and help to meet the many challengesour seniors now face in today’s rapidly changing environment.We hope you keep this directory in a convenient location and use itoften. is a volunteer based, local non-profit organization dedicated toeducate Tuolumne County Seniors about resources that might allowthem to remain living at home as they age. We provide thiscomplimentary directory as a community service. In addition, sRsprovides rides for seniors and the disabled who have no other means oftransportation.
