In addition, hehas been a highly sought after speaker at a variety of conferences and seminars onEMS, Wilderness Medicine, and Air Ambulance Services. Dr. French has served asMedical Director for multiple EMS agencies, and has been active in EMS in severalstates. Dr. French is currently working on a new curriculum that will ensure that thesite’s content is up to date and accurate.
Ryan and Scott are both Paramedics and Firefighters involved with the site.Ryan has been an EMT and Paramedic for 10 years. His teaching credentials includecertification for all levels of EMS, PHTLS, CPR and first aid. Additionally he leads orassists in EMT instruction within five different EMS jurisdictions and colleges. Ryan is anauthor on the site and is a great asset to EMT-National-Training.com. Scott has beenan EMT andParamedicfor 12 years. He works for a combination fire/EMS departmentand is also a certified Firefighter II and Haz-Mat Technician. He has specialized inhandling radioactive emergencies and worked for several years as a contractedParamedic/Firefighter with the Department of Energy. He is a site consultant and alsowrites for the site.
Adam, Terry, and Scott are all EMT-185 and EMT-Advanced certified. Adam is aFirefighter/EMT-I for a busy fire and EMS system in the great northwest. Along withbeing an EMT instructor he has been involved in aiding new EMT's and perfecting theirskills. Adam has been an EMT for 7 years and an EMT instructor for 4 years. Adam isan author on the site and offers great insight. Terry has been a volunteer EMT for 6years in a remote resort community. He has participated and led various back countryrescues in all kinds of weather conditions and terrains. Terry is a Certified RopesRescue Technician and also a member of the Extrication Team. Scott has been avolunteer EMT for 5 years. He likes to specialize in injuries that are caused byrecreational machines and equipment. He considers himself an expert on boat propellerlacerations and injuries caused by snowmobile collisions. Scott doubles as a siteconsultant and critic.
