ALTA® Standards & Forms
In addition to representing the industry in Washington, DC, the American Land Title Association® is responsiblefor the forms upon which nearly all title insurance is written in the United States. By having a standard form for  each transaction necessary to a title insurance policy, the system of land exchange remains remarkably smooth throughout the country.Several forms are available at no charge and all forms are available via subscription to  ALTA® Policy FormsOnline.
Policy Forms Online
This site provides access to the ALTA® collection of forms and related documents. Some of these forms areavailable to any interested party, but many are available only to ALTA Members, Licensees, or Policy FormsSubscribers and are marked with the[M]or [S]symbol to indicate "Member Only" or "Special/Subscriber" access. If you are a Member, Licensee, or Subscriber and would like to access all of the forms, simply Log In to enjoy access to all of the forms. If you are not an ALTA Member, Licensee, or Subscriber, you can log in and purchase now.If you don't have a login and password, simply e-mail ALTA® Staff at service@alta.org for assistance. Please note that it usually takes about 1 business day to process and activate your access. The Occasional Use Waiver is available for those who, during the previous calendar year, wrote title insurance on 50 or fewer transactions. Applications may be found at www.alta.org/waiver .If you have questions about the ALTA Policy Forms Licensing Program view Frequently Asked Questions..
As always, the forms have been developed by the ALTA Forms Committee and approved by the ALTA Board. Anopportunity to review and comment is extended to ALTA Members and industry customers before final publication. The forms, in general ,are made available for customer convenience. The parties are free in each case to agree to different terms, and the use of these forms is voluntary, unless required by law.

  ALTA® Membership Directory
There are several ways to search for ALTA® members depending on if you are looking for a
specificmember
or if you are looking for members who
service a specific area
.

• To find members who service a specific area, you can do a
search by state which you can thennarrow by county. A member who services the entire state would show up in the results for everycounty.
• To find a specific member by company or by
individual, you can do a general search, which lets you search by keywords.
• To find the physical
location of a company, there is a different search by state which you can then narrow by county. Note that location is where the office is located, not the areas that are served; if no member offices are located in a county, the county will not be displayed as a selection criteria. You can also look up a state land title association, and search our  Vendor Directory to find member  companies to meet your business needs. Finally, you can also find out which title companies have beenpurchased by other companies.

Additionally, you can access the membership directory from your desktop by downloading the digitaldirectory icon.

Please Note: The information in this membership directory is provided for thepurpose of connecting title professionals, attorneys, real estate agents, bankers, mortgage brokers (and others in the land evidencing and settlement services industries) and consumers with ALTA® members for legitimatebusiness purposes. ALTA®does not condone or approve of companies orindividuals extracting information from this membership directory to build theirown marketing database or to conduct wholesale (spam) marketing activities. Please be aware that any company or individual that violates this policy is

subject to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act [TCPA] [47 U.S.CodeSection 227] which prohibits using fax machines, computers or other devices to send unsolicited advertisements to a fax machine and which provides whatcan amount to substantial penalties for its violation.
