Plaintiffs, by and through their undersigned attorneys, as and for their Complaintagainst Defendants, allege as follows:
NATURE OF THE ACTION
1.
 
 This is a legal malpractice action against a law firm and certain of itsindividual attorneys whose egregious neglect of numerous collection matters caused theirclients – a group of employee benefit plans that provide pension, health, and otherbenefits to working carpenters and their families – to lose the ability to collect millions of dollars in unpaid contributions from the workers’ employers.
