inuential group of senators whose
votes will be crucial to advancingfederal climate legislation.The March 5 event, co-hosted by SenatorBarbara Boxer (D-CA), RepresentativeMike Thompson (D-CA) and USDA
Ofce of Ecosystem Services Director
Sally Collins, was one of the largestever assembled in Washington, D.C.,on the topic of U.S. forests and nationalclimate policy. PFT honored Stabenowfor her leadership in Congress raising

with the Pacic Forest Trust to make
sure that there are strong incentivesfor sustainable forest managementpractices, to think outside the box toprotect and preserve our forests and touse this opportunity to tackle what is thereal challenge of our generation: globalwarming,” Stabenow remarked.
In 2008, Stabenow held the rst-ever

benets also safeguards these lands
for the families and communities whodepend on them for jobs and many other
public benets.”
PFT Board members Will Stelle,Andrea Tuttle and Kirk Marckwald joined Wayburn at the reception,which was sponsored by K&L Gates,
