    HASEK ELECTED AS CHAIRMAN OF MINNESOTA COLLEGE REPUBLICANS


    Chairman of St. Thomas College Republicans, Andrew Hasek, succeeds Ryan Lyk in top Minnesota College Republican position
    Roseville, MN, April 21st, 2013: Andrew Hasek was elected as the next Chairman of the Minnesota College Republicans at the annual MNCR State Convention on Saturday, succeeding two-term Chairman Ryan Lyk in that position. Hasek defeated Danny Surman of Macalester for the top spot. I look forward to giving you the best year possible as Chairman of Minnesota College Republicans. I will not fail you or your chapter Hasek stated. In addition to Haseks win, his slate won all statewide races with Rachel Jansen winning her Co-Chair race, Drew Christensen winning his bid for Treasurer, and Emily Sir winning the race for Secretary. Hasek is also joined by three regional Vice Chairs: Jacob Schneider of Bethel (Metro), Anna Wilson (North), and Aly Eichmann (South), with the two latter coming from the Surman slate. I am excited to work with all of these individuals to continue making College Republicans an effective volunteer force and campaign asset that will provide the boots on the ground that we need in 2014 to win .
