Preparation Time: 5 minCooking Time: 20 - 25 min Serves: 8 Ingredients: 1 tin condensed milk 5 cups Milk kg Carrots 1-2 tbsp

p Sugar (to taste) 2 tsp Ghee 50 gm Dry fruits (optional) 3-4 pods cardamom, powdered A few strands of saffron Method:

Grate the carrots. Add carrots, cardamom powder and saffron to milk and bring to a boil. Cook on slow fire, stirring occasionally till milk dries up. Add condensed milk and sugar. Cook on a slow fire till dry (about 25 to 30 min) stirring occasionally. Add ghee and cook for another 10 min. Garnish with nuts, raisins and serve hot.

Microwave Method: 1. Place the grated carrots and ghee in a heavy microwavable dish and microwave on high for 3 minutes. 2. Now add milk, saffron and cardamom powder to the bowl and cook(in microwave) the carrots until done and all the milk is absorbed (stir occasionally). 3. Now add the condensed milk and microwave until the mixture thickens. 4. Now garnish with toasted almonds.
