This adage is appropriate to our current rush into the "gene age," which has striking parallelsto the eugenics movement of the early decades of the 20th century. Eugenics was, quite literally, aneffort to breed better human beings – by encouraging the reproduction of people with "good" genesand discouraging those with "bad" genes. Elements of the American eugenics movement were modelsfor the Nazis, whose radical adaptation of eugenics culminated in the Holocaust.

"Three generations of imbeciles are enough." The Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court,Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., wrote those very words in his opinion of the Court in the 1927 case of Buck v. Bell. Holmes ruled that the State of Virginia had the right to forcibly sterilize a mildlymentally challenged woman named Carrie Buck whose mother and six-month old daughter were alsodeemed "feeble-minded." This case effectively sanctioned 50 years of unrestrictedeugenicsin theUnited States enforced by the great surgeons of the 20th Century. They performed at least sixty-fivethousand forced sterilizations in the U.S. between 1907 and 1966. New York was quick to catch onand passed a sterilization law in 1912. The law was invalidated in 1918 and officially repealed in1920.
 
Beginning in 1904, the Carnegie Institution funded the Station for Experimental Evolution atColdSpring Harbor, Long Island that hosted the federally fundedEugenics Record Office. With the
 
Carnegie’s financial support, the ERO quickly became the most important center for eugenics researchin America.TheRockefeller Foundationfunded theKaiser Wilhelm Institute in Germany(known today as the
 
Max Planck Institute for Medical Research). This busy little institution partially laid the intellectualgroundwork for the racial-cleansing ideas behind the Holocaust and supported individuals like theFrench-American Nobel Prize winner,Dr. Alexis Carrel, who supported the Nazis and advocated massmurder of the mentally ill and prisoners. Also on the Rockefeller’s payroll was the DeutscheForschungsanstalt fur Psychiatrie (German Institute for Psychiatric Research) andDr. Ernst Rudin.Rudin was named President of the worldwide Eugenics Federation in 1932 and stated in a publicaddress:“The significance of Race-Hygiene did not become evident to all aware Germans until thepolitical activity of Adolf Hitler and only through his work has our 30 year long dream of translating Race-Hygiene into action finally become a reality.”
 
 The Rockefeller Foundation attempted to foster cutting-edge scientific research by supportingPsychiatric research in Germany. It withdrew support for these institutions when the U.S. enteredWorld War II in 1941.The involvement of German doctors in mass murder and other atrocities in NaziGermany was not universally known before the U.S. entered the war. And the Rockefeller Foundationhelped many prominent German scientists who were dismissed from their positions get new jobsoutside of Germany

We imagine thatthe Holocaust is only some sick oddity of the past confined to Germany. To make matters worse, weare now subjected to a crazed Iranian babble on and on about the Holocaust not even existing. Theworld either pretends that the Holocaust was only about the Jews or it pretends that it did not exist.Now yes, it was about the Jews, but it was also about a lot more, and it was about something that stilldwells very deep within the soul of the progressive movement in the United States of America. Yes,liberals, that would be you.The progressives of the 20th century took racism and reformulated it into a science, a science thatdevotes itself to discovering the "pure gene" or "pure blood". Once that can be isolated, they believe,the next step is the removal of the "bad blood" either through lethal means or through sterilization.Certainly through abortion.
 How? By identifying so-called "defective" family trees and subjecting them to lifelongsegregation and sterilization programs to kill their bloodlines. The grand plan was to literallywipe away the reproductive capability of those deemed weak and inferior--the so-called
