Print and cut out template A and B.(Templates are included at the end of the instructions.) Trace template A onyour fabric with the pen, you will needone circle of each fabric for each coaster.Trace and cut template B out of thebatting.

At the sewing machine, sew a
½
” seam on one of the two circles. It willbe your guide when sewing on the Ric-Rac. To keep your fabric laying
at, youcan loosen the thread tension (3) andlengthen the stitch length (3.5). Do nothesitate to stop often. Just bring yourneedle down and pivot your fabric.
Cutting

Sew on the Ric-Rac using the threadline you just made as a guide. Sew veryslowly pivoting very often (I pivot everythree valleys).

Press the coaster top

Layer the top and bottom facing eachother. Center the batting on the bottom.Mark an opening hole about 2.5” wide onthe sewing line for tuning.
 
6.
Sew through all three layers followingthe previous seam line, backstitching oneach side of the turning hole.
