Tavoyan youth from different places both in and outside of Burma who are struggling to fightfor building federal union, human rights and transition to democracy in Burma gatheraltogether at Thailand-Burma border and hold a meeting which includes Tavoyan YouthOrganization's central organizing committee, adviser and Tavoyan youth from inside on April11
, 2013 and done it successfully.There were discussions about Tavoyan Youth Organizing's current condition, politicalsituation and the evaluation of participation of Tavoyan youth in politics. Moreover, therewere discussions about how to cooperate together more and to participate actively in youthmovements.2.
Furthermore, there was an agreement to still hold on the aim and objectives of TavoyanYouth Organization as mention below;
To participate in the process of rebuilding our country and in the struggle for genuinedemocracy in Burma by involving actively with effective cooperation of Tavoyan youth
To strengthen solidarity among our Tavoyan people and to be able to work togetherwith different youth organizations in youth movements(2)
To build up the capacity and ability of our young people(3)
To maintain Tavoyan ethnic’s tradition, culture and customs3.
Tavoyan Youth Organization absolutely believes that the development of our country is muchdepending on the ability, creativity and the cooperation of youth. Therefore, TYO is ready towork together in a certain role of the youth.4.
TYO believes that it can help benefit in the process of building a genuine democracy countryby working together with other youth organizations.5.
In order to implement and fulfill the aim, objectives and activities of Tavoyan YouthOrganization, Central Organizing Committee is reformed as below from this meeting.1)
