Napa LGBTQ Project Day at Rush Ranch!

Saturday, April 27 Eleven am two pm


Rush Ranch Open Space Preserve, Suisun

Carpool from Napa or meet us at the ranch!


Carpool will depart Napa LGBTQ Project Oce (780 Lincoln Ave, Napa) parking lot at 10am. Call 707-251-9432 to reserve a space as a passenger, or to volunteer to drive. We will gather at the picnic grove to eat lunch together. You may bring your own bag lunch, or purchase onsite for a nominal cost. Dogs are welcome, but must stay on leash at all mes. We will provide some beverages and snacks.

An operang cale ranch, Rush Ranch is owned and managed by the Solano Land Trust and is home to the Rush Ranch Educaonal Council and Access Adventure. Michael Muir, founder and director of Access Adventure, invites everyone involved with the Napa LGBTQ Project to visit Rush Ranch on Saturday, April 27th during Access Adventures Annual Open House. There will be acvies for people of all ages. Come ride a horse-drawn wagon, lunch with other friends of the LGBTQ Project, and learn more about the work of Access Adventure -a unique program that uses wheelchair accessible horse-drawn carriages to provide open space recreaon and wilderness access for people living with the challenges of disability.

Rush Ranch is located approximately 2 miles south of Highway 12 in Suisun City on Grizzly Island Road. From San Francisco - take I-80 east to Faireld and exit at HWY 12 to Rio Vista. Proceed on HWY 12 approximately 3 miles to Grizzly Island Rd. Turn right on Grizzly Island Rd and proceed approximately 2 miles to ranch entrance on right.
