The Schenectady City School District's application to have transportation contracts pursuant to numbered 8252137 andE25,2l38 validated for transportation aid has been approved Chapter 57 of the laws of 2012. Under the provisions of Chapter 57, aid due for contracts approved under this provision will due for be paid under the provisions of Section 360a(5Xc) of the Education Law. As a result, aid prior year transportation provided for the school years 2004-2005 through 2010-2011 will be paid as 2011-12 for the provided claims as appropriations are made available. Aid due for transportation school yeai undsubsequent school years will be paid as current year aid. The district will be notified when the impact on aid for specific contracts and aid years has been determined.
