Payne has ties to Mobile, Alabama, and Denton, Texas, and may have ties to Seminole, Oklahoma. Payne's last known place of residence was Denton, Texas, in late 2008, where he was enrolled at the University of North Texas. Payne enjoys playing basketball.

CAUTION
Brandon Payne is wanted for his alleged involvement in an armed take-over style bank robbery in Valley Grande, Alabama. On September 13, 2007, Payne is alleged to have been a getaway driver for three robbers who stormed a Peoples Bank and Trust at approximately 10:14 am. The robbers brandished weapons and obtained several thousands of dollars. The robbers were apprehended and subsequently pled guilty to the crime. They are currently serving time in prison. However, Payne remains at large. On February 2, 2009, Payne was indicted in absentia by the United States District Court, Southern District of Alabama, on two counts related to the bank robbery. That same day, a federal warrant was issued for Payne's arrest.
