Start by folding long sheet in half. Open up and fold one end toward the gutter of first fold, repeat for the other side.

Take one of the loose ends and fold toward the outside fold, repeat for the other side.

Flip over and take folded edge toward first center fold, repeat for the other side, which finishes off the accordion and gives eight even panels.

Accordion with Pocket

The difference in this accordion is that the measurment of the pocket must be added to the overall height of the piece of paper. Fold the pocket over first, then proceed with folding the 8 panel accordion as demonstrated above.

Pop-Up Window Accordion

Cut two pieces of paper the exact same height, but the second sheet should be at least 1 - 2 (2.5 - 5cm) shorter in overall length (this sheet will show on the outside and act as a frame. Fold each sheet of paper into the 8 panel accordion as demonstrated above. Lay the longer sheet so that the loose ends are facing up. Tip on glue to the very ends and on the three center peaks. Gently lay down the shorter sheet on top so that the underneath side of the peaks match up. Line up the loose ends and press out for 1 hour.
