Division Project

This project is chosen by the Lieutenant Governor every year. Thisyear, as Lieutenant Governor, I have chosen to continue withAmber’s Closet as the Division Project. For this project clubs shouldcollect prom or homecoming style dress that people do not needanymore. These dresses will then go to a “closet” where girls whoare dealing with money issues can select a dress to help themdefray the cost of going to prom or homecoming.

District Project

This is a project chosen by all of the Lieutenant Governors in theCapital District. All of the Lieutenant Governor’s decided that“Green is KEY” should be this year’s project. For this project, clubsshould be environmentally friendly in any ways possible. For example, if your meeting agenda is normally two pages long,instead of printing on only one side of the paper, print doublesided. This will lower the amount of paper waste your club makes.There are many other ways to show that Green is KEY, so if youhave any ideas, please share them with me.

Governor’s Project

This project is chosen by our District Governor each year. This year Heifer International was chosen. This project encourages clubs toraise money to buy animals for people in third world countries. Allof the animals are shared in a community. Say we raise enoughmoney to buy a female cow, if that cow has a baby, that baby isgiven to another family. Governor Christina has asked eachdivision to raise $600 for this cause, and I believe this is attainable!
