I. General Series Information
1.The 2013 LFSCART Light Series (LLS) series is defined as a series running nine events in theLive for Speed simulation software using the Formula XR (FOX) car on a combination of roadand oval circuits.
II. LLS Car Restrictions
1.Drivers are restricted in the tyre compounds that they may use in LLS. Cars not using anallowed compound will be black flagged and must change to an allowed compound.a)
compound tyres may be used on Ovals.b)
Only R1 and R2
compound tyres may be used on Road circuits.
III.Sporting Code Clarifications / Notes
1.The Safety Car Procedure as stated in Sporting Code Article VIII is applied to this series.2.All open configuration courses were measured using the method prescribed in Article VI,1.1.a.3.Please ensure you are aware of the Red Flag and Server Failure Procedures in the SportingCode. (Articles IX and X, respectively).
1.There are 30 start positions available in the LFSCART Light series. These spots are awardedbased on qualifying results.2.Car Number 1 is reserved for the previous LFSCART Light Series Champion. This is the onlynumber that is reserved. All other numbers 0, 2-99 inclusive, are open.3.All drivers will have their entry accepted after completing all of the following:a)A total online driven distance equal to or greater than 5,000 miles / 8,045 kilometers4.All cars are single-driver cars. A “Team” is a grouping of at least one car sharing the sameteam name.5.No signups or signup edits (Entry Lockout) may be made starting 2 hours and 5 minutesprior a race, and will not re-open until 2 hours following the race conclusion.a)A team in need of urgent edits during the Entry Lockout period must appeal to raceadministration to request a waiver to make the change. All entry changes made duringthe lockout period will take effect for that round. Any made following the Entry Lockoutwill be applied starting from the next round.
