Carlos: STACS isn't really known, but the org works on its own. Community. Moderator wants more out of the org. He was the reason why STACS is here. Main concerns: hard to change the idea that the trading card game is related to gambling. Idea to use the Lib as a venue. Joao: Toujin usually gets people who are hard to handle, to the point that summer pa lang, we've already had three more kickouts, lots of people on probation. The org needs character-building; everyone just thinks of themselves. Bad transitioning. What I'm really hoping for Toujin is a change of point of view. Culture change towards change of perception about the org. Lovette: Main problem last year was membership involvement. Got a lot of members, but they weren't very responsive, got in the way of project implementation. Not yet very efficient as an org, problems with processes. Hope what we can get is help with org structuring, prepare for accreditation. Leadership seminars for members. Dan: Problem with WriterSkill for the past few years has been member involvement. Average of 100 members each year, but only around 40 people stay. We run out of active members who aren't officers. Hope is that through LIONS, we can get networks, make noise, show the community that we're legit. Needs and Goals for LIONS Compiled organization needs: visibility, member involvement/formation, processes/internals Goals for LIONS: team-building among orgs, training for org officers towards end of the year or during summer), strengthen internal communication within the council Proposed LIONS Organizational Structure Top 5 High Chancellor overall head, coordination, representation Sec-Treas second-in-command, administrative work, possibly split later on Head of Special Projects council-wide projects such as RecWeek, inter-org activities, etc Head of Branding promotions and overall LIONS brand Head of Organizational Development internal projects, tie up with groups like OSA and CODE to help the orgs with internal structure/processes

Org Presidents No need for clusters yet One vote per org, plus the votes of the Top 5 AJ: Idea is for LIONS to eventually be an autonomous sector of Sanggu, with a vote in the Central Board. Indie orgs are a unique constituency. We can start by hopefully securing the head a seat with observer status, then transition to full-blown sectordom when LIONS is more stable. Do the Top 5 get teams? Pro: The work is intense, particularly for the heads. Con: Many LIONS orgs already have problems with member retention. Plan of action: o Those who apply for Top 5 positions but do not get in will automatically join the teams. o Orgs can recruit internally for the central LIONS teams, then forward to central LIONS. o During RecWeek, ask if we can get a dedicated LIONS booth for the council. If not, second wave of online recruitment within the orgs, after RecWeek. Selection of LIONS officers: appointment. By application, open to all members of LIONS orgs, but priority will be given to org officers. o Single applicationgeneric resume, platform. o Applications open Tuesday, April 30, and run until May 10. o May 11org presidents/representatives meet, deliberate on applications, select heads. Elections: difficult because there would be no COMELEC/neutral presiding body. COA RecWeek Rep: Carlos Projects LIONS RecWeek? Still need to join COA RecWeek for first sem. Game for a LIONS Week in second sem (early November). Recruitment as a bonus, but main point would be showing off the orgs. Leadership Training Orientation by OSA
