The Emperor’s Legion is a Wargames Club that meets at the Penrith PCYC eachmonth. Established in the year 2000, it runs Tournaments for both 40K and WHFB.These Tournaments’ are played in a friendly competitive atmosphere and are great for beginners and veterans alike.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st Overall Veterans, Best Army, Best Painted, PlayersChoice and Best Sport. Each person is eligible for one prize only. That is, if you comefirst in painting and second overall you will get the higher of the two prizes, in thiscase 2

Entries are to be in by the 10th of September. There is a maximum of 40 players positions available. Subject to change by organiser’s, dependant on response.

Edition Rules are in play for this Tournament. 1750 Points.
Any Codex released prior to the 01 September 2009 is eligible for use including White Dwarf approved armies and Imperial Armour.The standard mission force organization chart will be used. No Allies, with the exception of Codex: Daemonhunters and Witch-hunters.All models are to be representative. No VDR or Super Heavies are to be used, how-ever Imperial Armour Vehicles may be used(for example – Manticore, Hydra etc)All army rosters will be clearly laid out and legible.There will be five games over the weekend, three on Saturday and two on Sunday, each gamelasting for 2.5 hours with a half an hour break between them. The five missions will besupplied at the start of the tournament.Tournament scoring will comprise Battle Scores (100), Sports (25), Army Composition (25),and Painting (25). These will form a final overall score.Sports, Painting and Composition will be peer based.First Round “Grudge Matches” to be arranged with the TO prior to Tournament. No cheating. Bribery at the ref’s discretion ;^)
