Who do you think you are you kidding here? The Republican party stands for limited government involvement in peoples lives while Nazism and Communism stands for the control of peoples live by the ruling government.
Open your eyes and see who it is that is trying to make the government larger and trying to pass laws that are far left leaning which are getting to look more and more like socialism.
Do your studying on who the current President's current right-hand men and women really are. Check their past involvement and social views on life and see who your so-called Nazis and Communists really could be in our near future if our Government is if not returned to what our Founding Fathers intended this great country to be.
I found this piece offensive if not far fetched. The Democrats as we can see are actually the Nazis and Communists all rolled into one and they already own the media, Obama said it the other night!
You know, you really should research your topic before you spout off in print. Your premise is extremely simplistic and you completely ignore, and I suspect are ignorant of, the real comparisons that could be made, and similarities drawn, between the so-called Democratic party and the totalitarian governments of world history. These include both communism and fascism, which are much closer related in practice, if not in theory, than most people realize. Try reading a little. You might learn something!
Your ideas are flawed. The Republican and Democrat parties are made up of different people with different views. The Nazis and Communist Parties had only one idea and one goal which was to take full responsibility for the control of people in their lives. Now the reason Hitler gained power was because he had a lot of charisma, people loved him and he was a great speaker. He had charm and a 'magnetic' quality of personality about him. But his party had only one view, "Hitler's", and that view was total government. You cannot compare Republican or Democrats with Nazism or Communism. One of the ideals of most Republicans is the idea of Limited Government. There is a lot of room within the Republican party for disagreement. Athough there may be those within either party that believe in total government most Republicans believe in Limited Government. Anytime politicians make laws in the Government to help people for their own good, rights are taken away from citizens to choose for themselves because Government “can” give but it must take away to do that.
This is too funny...no wait; not funny. Disturbing.
Disturbing that young people have no concept of what fascism and communism are...much less how they apply to modern world politics.
Communism, by its own definition, is the assumption of things that were private by the public. Take for example, health care…personal/family welfare…education…etc.
“We are a nation that has a government—not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the Earth. Our Government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.” Ronald Reagan inaugural address January 20, 1981.
From this, we can confirm that Republicans are NOT communists. The definitive republican, Ronald Reagan (the measuring stick to which Republican candidates are measured) openly and publicly opposed big government.
The Democratic party, however, insists that it is the responsibility of the government to regulate nearly every aspect of American life. Health care (the holy grail of “universal health care”)…Education (the crushing of private schools and the vouchers that would allow them to grow, ie Referendum 1; Utah 2007) and affirmative action that is nothing more than reverse-descrimination…and today’s welfare system. (The brainchild of FDR and the New Deal creating Social Security; a now bankrupt and doomed device to take money forcibly from those who have to those who do not have.)
In your paper, you use “how the Republicans treat the rival Democrats” to prove the Republican desire to “get rid of the Democrats.” You cite not one specific example to support your case, so we are left to assume that your findings are simply the workings of your own imagination.
In truth, the opposite is truer. The left-backed “Fairness Doctrine” that seeks as its goal, the hamstringing of conservative (Republican) talk radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck for no other reason than the fact that their ideas are successfully reaching free-thinking ears.
In your paper, you compared Republicans to Mussolini; a fascist dictator. I’d like to think you for your reference, because it proves MY point. Mussolini was a HUGE admirer of FDR "It is not to be emphasized that Roosevelt's policy (the New Deal) is fascist because these comments are immediately cabled to the United States and are used by his foes to attack him." -Mussolini
Even Mussolini saw FDR as a kindred spirit and a fascist.
I would continue to rip apart your viewpoint, but I grow bored with the ease of it. Get a clue, my friend…or would you prefer I call you “comrade”?
