Dear Fellow College Republicans, I am writing to thank you sincerely for allotting me the opportunity to serve as the Chairman of the College Republican Federation of Rhode Island. Your support of my candidacy at the convention was humbling and I am honored to serve as your leader over the next year. We have a great deal of work to do as an organization and it will take a well-orchestrated effort from College Republicans across the Ocean State in order to revolutionize the CRFRI into one of the premier chapters in the country. At this time, I would like to extend the utmost gratitude to all of my supporters. Whether you were spreading the word about my candidacy, making campaign stops with me, offering your endorsement, or casting a vote in my favor, your efforts are immensely appreciated. I would also like to personally thank outgoing CRFRI Chairman Terrence George for his unyielding service to the Republican Party during his tenure as the leader of the organization. Chairman George has set an optimal example of conservative leadership over the past two years and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Finally, I would like to thank my gracious opponent, Sarah De La Cerda. Sarah has been a driving force in the Rhode Island Republican Party and I look forward to working with her over the course of my term. As I stated in the debate and in my acceptance speech, the CRFRI will not be successful unless it has the support from College Republicans across the state. Therefore, I ask for your support and membership in the CRFRI. Over the summer, I plan to meet with our Executive Board and take the initial steps of updating our website, organizing a meeting schedule for AY 2013-2014, and beginning the publication of our strategic plan. I look forward to working with you in the coming year and I hope to maintain your generous support going forward.

Sincerely,

Justin Braga Chairman-Elect, College Republican Federation of Rhode Island justin_braga@brown.edu
