AMBASSADORS CODE OF CONDUCT

As an LAS Ambassador I promise to be a responsible, innovative and compassionate citizen of the world and serve as a role model in our school community and beyond and in particular I will: maintain high behavior standards be enthusiastic, active and participating be open-minded and unbiased be organized and adaptable always be on time be joyful and outgoing keep myself aware of my responsibilities and influence work hard to improve the school and support the community well-being be inspiring, encouraging and caring be devoted to my role be putting others over myself recognize other students achievements keep myself balanced be honest be helpful be a fair leader and mediator in given circumstances be respectful to others strive to strengthen my character.

If members of faculty feel that I am not fulfilling this commitment then I agree to sit down and explore ways in which improvements can be made. If I feel that my efforts are not being acknowledged or valued, I also commit to speak with Ms. Krause, Ms. Meyskens or Mr. Fryer about my frustrations. As an LAS Ambassador I also accept that if situations mentioned below occur I will suspend or give up my ambassadorship (varying case by case): continuing lack of involvement or devotion in fulfilling expectations continuing disciplinary issues (incl. little ones) off-campus suspension abuse of power unexcused absences to meetings and Orientation Week.
