This site is two things at once. On one hand, it's a collection of articles onvarious topics related to socializing with other people. However, taken as awhole, it's also a kind of guide on how shy, lonely, socially awkward peoplecan get over their issues. Everything that's written here is based on my ownexperiences in overcoming these problems.
At first I was looking for magical motivational insights or interpersonal techniques tosolve all my problems overnight. Personally, I turned a corner when I focused onimproving myself overall and letting all the little details fall into place as a result. Islowly learned to be more socially savvy, personable, likeable, well-rounded, fun,cool, interesting, and to have genuine things going for me. When I did this I found itprovided a foundation that made meeting my social objectives much more effortlessand natural.To be clear though, this site isn't about how to become the most popular guy in theroom or the center of the party. It's more basic and remedial. A lot of it is obvious ifyou've taken a fairly typical path through life, but not everyone has. It will just helpyou become a contented socially average person.Feel free to check out the ever growing list of articles below. Don't feel you have toread them in order, just jump to whatever interests you. I am a guy in my mid-twenties, so this site unavoidably reflects that perspective. I can't write about theunique aspects of female relationships because I'm not a woman. And if you'reolder, I may make a few too many references to things like hanging out in bars foryour liking. Still, I think a lot of my advice is useful to everyone.
