Bug Advocacy?
Have you ever reported a bug that was dismissedas unrealistic or unlikely to be encountered byany normal person?
Have you ever reported a bug that was closed asirreproducible even though you were sure itwould show up again in the field?
Have you ever worked on a recall or a crisis dot-release triggered by a bug that you found, butthat wasn’t fixed, before release?
In mass-market software, most of the bugscustomers call to complain about werediscovered during testing but not fixed. Whyweren’t they fixed?
