ABOUT THIS REPORT
 This report forecasts total world demand in 2017 for plastic pipe by resin and majorworld region in meters and metric tons. Resin segments include:
 polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
 high density polyethylene (HDPE)
 other resins such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) andaluminum-plastic composite.Major world regions include:
 North America
 Western Europe
 Asia/Pacific
 all other regions.Demand by resin is also forecast for each major world region. To illustrate historical trends world, product, and regional demand are provided for 2007and 2012. World demand is further segmented by the following markets for 2012 andmeasured in meters:
 residential construction
 nonresidential construction
 nonbuilding construction
 other markets such as agriculture, process manufacturing, and oil andgas production.Finally, world production is segmented by major world region in metric tons andprovided for 2007, 2012, and 2017.Forecasts emanate from the identification and analysis of pertinent statisticalrelationships and other historical trends/events as well as their expectedprogression/impact over the forecast period. Changes in quantities between reportedyears of a given total or segment are typically provided in terms of five-year compoundannual growth rates (CAGRs).
