Pasyon is a narrative of the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ woven into a poem with stanzas of five lines and each line having eight syllables. This form of the passion narrative is popular in the Philippines especially during the season of Lent and particularly during the holy week when the pasyon is usually read or sung at home.
