Download and printthe doll pattern fromScribdTransfer the printedpattern to wax backedfreezer paper. The cutedges of the doll pat-tern pieces are theseamline.Use a light box or thelight of a window toposition the freezerpaper pattern over thedesired area on the
wrong side
of the fab-ric. -Iron it to the fab-ric.-Rough cut at least a1/2" allowance aroundthe pattern.Use the light box toposition the patternwith the ironed on fab-ric to a "good" spot onthe
right side
of thefabric. Then again rough cut the fabric at least a 1/2" from the paper edge.

Sew the seam at the edge of the pattern with an open toe foot. Shorten the stitchlength. The seam is stitched all around the pattern piece (do not leave an opening forturning). Trim close to the pattern with pinking shears. If you don't have pinking shears,it is necessary to clip into the seam at the curves so they will be smooth when turnedinside out.

The sharp inwardly curved seambetween her feet needs to beclipped.
 
To turn the bodyinside out, draw a2" long line in themiddle of herback to cut anopening.Using tweezers ishelpful to graspnarrows at theends to pull themthrough the cut.After the body isturned right sideout draw a 5"long line from thetoes upward togive her two legs.Stitch a seamalong the line be-ing sure to se-cure the threadends.The arms are cutand sewn with aclosed seamaround the pat-tern. The slit forturning is madeat the top in thearea that will besewn next to thebody.

I've discovered a better method to attach the head to the bottom. Complete seam around the head. Small criss-cross slits are cut in the back of the head into which the neck fits. Connect the head to the neck with the blind stitch/ladder stitch.
