These guidelines are provided to help iOS Developer Program members
correctly promote their a∑liation with the App Store on websites, advertising,
and all other marketing communications. The guidelines include important
information on using the App Store badges, best marketing practices related tothe App Store, and details on the use of Apple product images.
Important: Apple approval required
All marketing or advertising materials in print orvideo format, or materials with high visibility in anyformat, must be submitted to and approved byApple before publication or broadcast. Submit yourinitial concept, storyboard, or rough cut via email as
described below. Allow a minimum of ve to seven
business days for a response. Note that no responsefrom Apple in this timeframe does not grant approvalof your materials. Apple can review work-in-progress
materials; however, all nal materials must be
approved by Apple before broadcast or publication.All materials containing custom photography orvideo of Apple products must be submitted andapproved by Apple before publication or broadcast.
Marketing review:
Marketing materials for Applereview should be sent toappstoremarketing@apple.com. Marketing includes any promotionalcommunications that are not part of a paid mediabuy; for example, video trailers and tutorials, printed
newsletters and yers, and other printed promotions.
Submit an example of your communication and
briey describe the app you are promoting, the
media, and the communication goals.
 Advertising review:
Advertising materials for Applereview should be sent toappstoreadvertising@apple.com. Advertising includes any promotionalcommunications that are part of a paid media buy;for example, TV spots, print ads, outdoor billboards,and other paid-for media. Submit all creative along
with the media plan (ight timing and placements)
and spend details.
Submission requirements
Submit all correspondence in English and provideEnglish localization of materials if necessary. Attachmaterials to an email message, provide logindetails to your secure FTP site, or use a password-protected web delivery service. Include the followinginformation with your materials: company name andapp name as they appear on the App Store, Apple
App ID (the nine-digit unique identier for your app),
and contact phone number.
Who can use Apple-provided marketing assets
 The App Store badges and the iPhone, iPad, andiPod touch images shown in these guidelines are foruse only by iOS Developer Program members whohave agreed to the App Marketing Artwork LicenseAgreement. The license agreement is available toreview and download from the Marketing Resourcessection of theApp Store Resource Center. 
Apple reserves the right to withdraw permissionto use the App Store badges or Apple productimages anytime their use is inconsistent with theseguidelines or is otherwise deemed inappropriateby Apple. The information in these guidelines is subject tochange. Refer to the App Store Resource Center athttp://developer.apple.com/appstorefor updates.
