TheFadedstartedin2004,afterImovedtoLosAngeles.Ourlineuphaschangedaroundabitoverthelastcoupleyears,butthebandhassimplyevolvedwithournewmem-bers.NoneofusareoriginallyfromCali-fornia.FreddyisfromBrazil,IsaoandShatoshiareJapanese.IamoriginallyfromNorthCarolina.Freddyauditionedforthegroupfromapostwehadlookingforadrummer.IhadheardIsao'sper-formancesonvariousmusicsites,andwhenouroldguitaristmovedbacktothemidwest,IdroppedIsaoanoteaskingifhewouldbeinter-estedinplayingwithus.IsaoknewShatoshiandinvitedhimtoauditionwithus.

RecentlyIhadtheopportunitytocatchoneofThrottleʼsliveshows.ThisonewasattheKeyClubinHollywood,CA,andtheplacewaspacked!Thelargeamountofpeoplethereseemedtobeinanticipationofthemtakingthestage,andoncetheydid,Icouldseewhy.Throttledeliveredahighenergy,hardhittingperformancewithblisteringguitarriffs,powerfulpercussionandboldvo-cals,capturingandkeepingthefocusofall,throughouttheevening.Ifyouareeverinthemoodforasolidrockbandwhocaneasilydeliver,Iwouldrecom-mendcatchingashowbyThrottle!
