The letter thaa has no English equivalent. It is pronounced like thaal, but
with the tensing of the tongue used in pronouncing taa and saa. It is

The letter daad has no English equivalent. It is like
daal with the tensing

of the tongue used in pronouncing taa, thaa and saad. It is also like
taa except that it is voiced. daad is written exactly like saad in all of its
forms except for the addition of a dot above.
