Introduction
 Welcome to the first-ever F1 e-book from
Brits on Pole
– the motor racing website that'sdedicated to cheering on British drivers and remembering legends in all forms of open-wheelracing. We haven't attempted to rewrite history – where we said stupid things, we've let them stand.Examples would include our detailed analysis of the bookies' odds that proved beyond doubt how Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen would be the 2008 world champion. Although they did call theconstructors' correctly, and we would point out that if you'd followed our advice and taken VictorChandler up on its very generous offer of Massa at 9/2, and put a tenner on, you'd very nearly havemade fifty quid. Another one to blame on Timo Glock. Also, we thought Max Mosley's position had become untenable after "Prisongate" but reckoned without the brass neck and sheer love of grandstanding that redoutable gentleman displayed. It follows only to say that the mistakes in what follows are entirely our own, and to give credit where it is due. The attractive word art that starts this e-book off and heads the review section atthe end comes courtesy of Wordle.com. All trademarks relating to the racing seires we all follow soavidly are of course the property of the series management. Finally, we hope you'll join us on thesite, during the F1 off-season and then, for the first time in 13 years, during the subsequent season with a reigning British world champion.Best wishes for 2009 and beyondThe Brits on Pole Teamhttp://www.BritsOnPole.com
