RECAP: The Rainiers scored 2 runs in each the 6th, 7th and 8th innings to come-from-behind to defeat Reno 7-4 on Monday afternoon.
The Rainiers have won 12 of their last 13 games, and posted a 7-1 mark over the recent homestand. Starter Andrew Carraway
(7.0,5,3,3,1,2,HR) earned his 4th win of the season, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits in 7.0 innings. LH Brian Moran (1.0,1,0,0,0,2) struck out 2
batters in a scoreless 8th inning, while RH Danny Farquhar (1.0,1,1,1,1,0) snapped his 13.0 scoreless innings streak with a run in the 9th
inning. SS Nick Franklin (2x3, 3 R, 2 2B, BB) recorded the Rainiers only multi-hit game. CF Corey Patterson (1x3, R, HR, 2 RBI, BB)
made his 2013 Rainiers debut, hitting a solo home run with 2 out in the 7th inning. RF Carlos Peguero (1x4, R, HR, 2 RBI) hit his 3rd
home run of the season with a 2-run 2-out blast in the 8th inning.
OF NOTE: RH Danny Farquhar allowed a run yesterday in the 9th inning, snapping his scoreless inning streak at 13.0 innings. During the

last 18 games he has appeared with 7 multi-hit games, batting .370 (27x73) with 16 runs scored, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs and 15
RBI. During this stretch, since April 17, Triunfel has raised his season average from .224 to 311. RH Andrew Carraway has won 4

PCL PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Tacoma Rainiers RH Jeremy Bonderman was named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for
April 29-May 5. Bonderman made 1 start for the Rainiers over that period, tossing a season-high 8.0 scoreless innings in Tacomas win
over the Tucson Padres on May 2nd. He surrendered just 2 hits and struck out 7 with 1 walk allowed. The Pasco, WA native is 2-2 with a
3.57 ERA (14 ER, 35.1IP) with 24 strikeouts and 9 walks over six starts with the Rainiers in 2013. This season is his first pitching in
organized baseball since his 2010 campaign with the Detroit Tigers. Bonderman underwent Tommy John surgery in April of 2012.
Bonderman is the third Rainiers player to be selected for a weekly league award over the last two weeks. Infielder Nick Franklin was
named the PCL Player of the Week and right-hander Andrew Carraway was selected as the PCL Pitcher of the Week for April 22-28.

HITTING FOR THE CYCLE: Abraham Almonte (4x5, 2 R, 2B, 3B, HR, 4 RBI) completed the cycle
on April 27 at Chattanooga. It was the first cycle in Jackson franchise history, dating back to 1998,
when the Generals were known as the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. But it was the 2nd cycle in 10
days for a Mariners prospect after Carlos Triunfel accomplished the feat for Triple-A Tacoma on
April 17. Almonte hit a solo homer in in the third inning, a bases-loaded triple in the 4th inning, and
singled in the 5th and got his 5th RBI of the evening. After being called out on strikes in the 6th
inning, Almonted lined a 2-2 pitch to right field for a double to complete the cycle.
Tuesdays probable starter: RH Chance Ruffin (1-0, 3.10) at Huntsville
RECAP: The Mavericks held onto a 5-1 lead before allowing 7 runs over the final 4 innings as High
Desert lost to Lancaster 7-8 on Monday night. Starter Trevor Miller (5.2,7,3,3,2,3) allowed 3 runs
on 7 this in 5.2 innings, but didnt figure into the decision. Relievers Dominic Leone (1.1,3,1,1,0,1),
Seon Gi Kim (1.0,1,1,1,1,0) and Stephen Shackleford (0.2,4,3,2,1,2) each were charged with runs
in relief. Shackleford snapped a 14.0 scoreless innings streak to start the season and recorded his
first loss. RH Bobby Shore recorded the final out of the game with the bases loaded. DH Mike
McGee (3x4, R) led the team with 3 hits, while SS Chris Taylor (2x4, R, 2 RBI, BB, SB), 3B Ji-Man
Choi (2x5, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI), 1B Daniel Paolini (2x4, R, HR, 2 RBI) and LF Jabari Blash (2x5, 2B,
3B) each recorded multi-hit contests.
OF NOTE: INF Ji-Man Choi has hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, including 8 straight games
(.389/14x36, 9 R, 4 2B, 3B, 3 HR, 11 RBI). Since April 20, Choi is batting .356 (21x59) with 15 runs
scored, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 4 home runs and 18 RBI. Since Since April 9, OF Daniel Paolini has
hit safely in 21 of 25 games, batting .352 (32x91) with 23 runs scored, 6 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home
runs and 23 RBI. INF Anthony Phillips has hit safely in 22 of 24 games he has appeared, batting
.337 (29x86) with 13 runs scored, 9 doubles, 3 home runs, 16 RBI, 3 stolen bases and 9 walks. OF
Jamal Austin has reached base safely, via a hit or walk, in all 29 games he has appeared this
season. He has recorded hits in 21 of 29 games, batting .238 (30x126) with 20 runs scored, 3
doubles, 1 triple, 15 RBI, 8 stolen bases and 17 walks. C Michael Dowd has hit safely in all 15
