ECHO & EKG SCREENING

The echocardiogram (ECHO)& electrocardiogram (EKG) are the best tools for detection of the risks of sudden cardiac death. These tests typically cost $1,500 and are usually not covered by insurance. Heartfelt Cardiac Projects is teaming up with Crossroads School. Heartfelt Cardiac Projects is oering cardiac screening for a tax deductible donation of $85 per student-athlete. Cash or check is accepted payable to: PHFE Heartfelt.

Cheynes Story
As luck would have it, the day Cheyne our 13 year old club soccer player came home and told me she was the fastest girl in her PE class, was also the day we found out that she had a hole in her heart that would require open heart surgery to repair. It was the best decision of our life to have Cheyne screened via a Heartfelt screening and we are eternally grateful.

Zack participated in the Heartfelt cardiac screening program this past fall at St. Margaret's, which turned up a heart problem in this otherwise healthy, active, athletic, 14 year old.Zack's family is grateful for the program knowing that it can actually prevent a horrible tragedy from occurring.
