CALL TO ORDER
President Della Sala called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
ROLL CALLPLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCEREPORTS FROM BOARD DIRECTORS AND STAFF
President Della Sala invited reports from Directors.Director Burnett reported on meetings with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service indicating thatobtaining their permit will be more challenging due to the snowy plover mating area. FWS isrequesting Cal Am looking at alternative sites indicating they have year round concerns as thislocation is one of the last undisturbed nesting sites for this species. Cal am is working throughwhat may satisfy their concerns and are also looking at sites further North and South, yet still onthe Semex property. Director Burnett also reported that he had hoped Cal Am would havealready received the permit from the City of Marina but given this issue, it will take additionaltime to work through.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
President Della Sala invited public comments for items not on the agenda and had no requeststo speak.
