Motivation: Asymptotic Behavior of RecursiveAlgorithms
When analyzing algorithms, recall that weonly care about the asymptotic behavior
Recursive algorithms are no different
Rather than solving exactly the recurrencerelation associated with the cost of analgorithm, it is sufficient to give anasymptotic characterization
 The main tool for doing this is the mastertheorem
