Summer 2009 Apprentice ArtistApplication Guidelines

ELIGIBILITYREQUIREMENT



Applicant must be a 14, 15, or 16 year old FULTON COUNTY residentor 14 years old by June 8, 2009 to apply for summer employment



Applicant must obtain a WORK PERMIT once hired as an apprenticeartist



Applicant must be able to work Monday

–

Friday from 11am to 3pmfrom June 8 to July 17, 2009Agency referrals are not accepted for summer session

Applicant must submit a 100 words or less

ARTISTSTATEMENT

(a shortparagraph about why you are an artist; offer insight about your artwork).



Applicant must submit ONE (1)

RECOMMENDATIONFORM

filled out by aschool teacher/official who knows your artistic performance.

SUBMISSION ATTACHMENTS



Applicant must submit one (1) 100 words or less ARTIST STATEMENT (a short paragraph about why you are an artist and offers insight about your artwork).



Applicant must submit ONE (1) RECOMMENDATION FORM filled out by one (1) school teacher/official who knows your artistic performance.

Do not submit grade report, resume, cover letter or artwork with your application
