•After Rome collapsed the most used type of political system were Empires and manor houses, the most successful Empire was theHoly Roman Empire.The ruler who got the HolyRoman Empire to its peak was Charlemagne, hebecame king in the year 800.Manor housesdeveloped in England and France, they were runby a lord and it was a self-sufficient politicalsystem, people from one manor usually spent allthere life without ever leaving the manor’sterritory, there was a complete absence of trade.

•After the crusades Europe stoppedconcentrating on war with Muslims andstarted focusing on its internal problems. However, the real start of Monarchies,was when rivalry started between Englandand France. In England a monarch camewith a vast army and he unified all the self-sufficient manor houses.
