Objective of the Study
1. Utilize
Crassostrea iredalei
(oyster) shellsas substitute to silicon dioxide (silica sand)in ceramic tile making.

dries, hardens andforms a tile body. No cracking occurs whenremoving it in the plaster of paris mold.

, however, did not form a tile bodybecause it did not harden and it did notbecome moldable, though it dries.
