Do you hear the call? It used to be a whisper: a faint sound in the distance. Now itcalls to us like a roaring lion. Do you hear the rumbling twisting tongues of trees:the creaking groaning glaciers as they melt on the top of the world? Do you hear the ocean waves whipping, wind howling and the Earth churning?My ears are deafened as my own stomach churns and grumbles beckoning me tolisten and respond. The time is NOW! The wave is on it’s way and it is time for usto prepare for the tides of change. Unlock your door, clear away the clutter in your life. Be prepared to answer when Spirit comes knocking. It is happening all aroundus as the old structures crumble, making way for new life.I had the good pleasure of attending a ‘Fundraising from the Heart’ workshop withLynne Twist, author of ‘The Soul of Money’last month. At this important time on the planet, Lynne invites us to consider where we are investing our energy. Do you support life affirming structures and life giving ways or ways that aredestructive to yourself, others and the Earth? What are you doing with your precious resources?In her book Lynne shares the words from a colleague “the job of our time is to hospice the death of the old unsustainablesystems and structures and to midwife the birth of new sustainable systems and new ways of being…and to do this withcompassion and love.”

In the distance a hum, the softsound of people waking up:waking up to what is possiblefor the earth at this sensitive juncture; waking up to the callthat is coming from ourancestors and from futuregenerations, a call to awaken.
