Student Full Value Contract

A vital component in the development, maintenance and enhancement of constructive,
meaningful interaction of individuals and groups in Physical Education is to establish a
working agreement between all participants regarding ground rules. This is known as the
full value contract. This contractual agreement will be the foundation on which a safe,
productive, positive and worthwhile learning experience is formed.

I agree to fully honor the following provisions of this full value contract:

• I will behave in a responsible manner by cooperating with my classmates and

teachers.
• I will treat others the way I would like them to treat me.
• I will help the class achieve its goals by using teamwork and communication.
• I will not behave negatively.
• I will not use put-downs.
• I will participate.
• I will speak the truth.
• I will be open to outcomes.
• I will set goals.
• I will be alert and aware of individual and group safety at all times.
• I will demonstrate responsible behavior, a cooperative attitude, and mutual respect.
• I will work cooperatively…striving to achieve individual and group goals.
• I will “let go of” previous negative feelings that I may have.
• I will take responsibility for my own learning, and help others to do the same.
