Attitudes towards E-Learning:
An Empirical Study in Kuwait

ABSTRACT
The main goal of this research is to find out about the Kuwaiti society’s attitudes towarde-learning held by a sample of 276 volunteers. A questionnaire based on the newlydeveloped e-learning scale was used to gather the data. The study proves the scale in anArab non-western context.The results show that there are significant differences in the attitudes toward e-learning based on educational level. On the other hand, the results show no differences in theattitudes toward e-learning based on volunteers’ gender. Also, the study exposes thatKuwaiti students generally have good attitudes towards e-learning.The study deeply discusses factors associated with the attitudes toward e-learning inKuwait. This study contributes to the literature on e-learning studies by systematicallymeasuring the attitudes towards e-learning in Kuwait.
