The MP1X20A portable "lunchbox" PC computer system of-fers a rugged solution for a transportable system with aninstalled ATX or EATX motherboard. Included is a 20.1” UXGA 1600x1200 TFT LCD. The LCD display offers 300nitbrightness, 1000:1 contrast and 8mS response. A coatedglass anti-reflective daylight enhancement filter is bondedto the display for higher contrast and brightness. A touchscreen is optionally available. Optional enhancement filterscan be provided for improved viewing in the targeted mis-sion environment.Constructed with heavy duty aluminum alloy, the MP1X20Ais a robust system providing tough, go-anywhere function-ality for demanding applications. The 20.1” LCD is fixed tothe front and the in-cluded keyboard at-taches to the outsidefront for a single-pieceunit to transport. Wheninstalled, the keyboardprovides protection forthe LCD. A padded,wheeled transit case isprovided.The system provides mounting for a standard ATX (9.6x12-inch) or EATX (12x13-inch) motherboard. Seven plug-incard slots are provided. The I/O boards are all externallyaccessible for easy access to their connectors.Six hot swap SATA 3-1/2” hard drive carriers, one 5-1/4” drive bay, one slim DVD and one slim floppy drive slots areincluded. A wide variety of fixed and removable drives areavailable. Depending on the motherboard or disk controller,these can be configured in a RAID.Power is provided by a standard PS/2 form factor powersupply. Supplies are available up to 1000W with AC and DCinput available. Redundant supplies can be optionally fittedon a custom basis.A speaker and amplifier with volume controls is built in. Thevolume controls are mounted on the right side.Cooling is provided by five high flow fans plus the air flowthrough the power supply. The chassis is well designed foroptimum airflow over the installed components for use in itstargeted rugged environment.The included 108 key keyboard is compact and provides atouch pad for cursor movement with two "mouse" buttons.The keyboard is secured to the outside front for transit andis easily removed for use with the system.
