Celestron Skymaster Giant 15×70 Binoculars
Welcome towww.CelestronSkyMasterGiant Binoculars.com. When I was looking for a good set of binoculars I did not know where to start. To helpothers in the same position this site is based on personal eperience. I willgive you an overview and my opionion on the best Giant Camera to buyThe Celestron SkyMaster Giant 15 x 70 Binoculars are large arperturebinoculars. They offer great value and are high performance binoculars, ideal for terrestrial use ans astronomical viewing, especially over longer distances. Each of the SkyMaster models include high quality BAK-4 prisms and havemulti coated optics giving for enhanced contrast. At Celestron they havereally excelled and designed and engineered their larger SkyMaster modelsto meet the special requirements allowing extended astronomical or terrestrial viewing sessions. The Celestron SkyMaster 15 x 70 model is still one of the most popular models in the range. It is extremely lightweight and offers amazing largearperture light gathering all at an affordable price. These days binoculars come in a wide range of shapes , sizes and pricesfrom below $100 upto and in excess of $500+. Whilst they may all looksimilar , internally they may be very diferent.Recently, the binocular market has seen a flood of giant binoculars atprices that were unheard of just a few years ago.The definition of giantbinoculars are those that magnify the view 10 times or more and have 70-mm or larger front (objective) lenses. In the past the least expensive giant binoculars cost in excess of $150,even $200. All that changed not long ago, when the market changed. Now,several companies import giant binoculars that sell for half that, or less.
SkyMaster 15 x 70 binoculars are the leaders in the low endgiant binocular market. In a recent comparison between the Fujino 16 x 70 FMT-SX Binocular  the Celestron Skymaster came a very close second considering the Fujino wasnearly $900 at the time, the Skymaster was judged best valued camera. Some of the inexpensive binoculars have very sloppy focusing, which cancause the eyepiece to tilt and move. This is not the case with the Celestron
