TWO FRIEDS AND A BEAR
Once in a small town, there were two young men called Artie and Benji. They grew uptogether as neighbours. They were good friends.One day, Artie and Benji went to another town to buy some food. They had to walkthrough a forest to reach there. There were wild animals in the forest. So they had to be verycareful.Halfway through the forest, Artie and benji felt tired and hungry.“ I am tired and hungry. I can’t go on anymore,” said Benji“ Let’s eat and rest under the tree over there,” said Artie.
 
After their meal, they closed their eyes to rest. Suddenly they heard a gowl.“ Is that a bear?” asked Artie.“Yes,” said Benji.“What should we do?”, asked ArtieThey become frightened as they looked at each other. Bemji quikly climbed up the treeand hid among the branches. Artie was fat and could not climb up the tree. He flopped himself on the groud and pretended to be dead.Artie kept very still and quiet when the bear came near him. The bear touched him withits paw. Then it bent down and sniffed at him. Thinking that it was a dead body, the bear walkedaway.
 
Artie stood up and brushed off the dry leaves from him clothes. Meanwhile, Benji gotdown from the tree. He walked over to Artie.“ What did the bear say in your ear?” asked Benji.“ Don’t trust anyone who runs away,” replied Artie.Artie was angry with Benji for running away.“Sorry, Artie. It won’t happen again,: said Benji.
