EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR LECTURES


LOW (10% - 59%)
The content of the lecture is not so clear; and the audience does not show much interest on it, because the lecturers did not use a hook. The lecturers are not intelligible when speaking English, as they do not show good word stress and correct pronunciation. Their intonation and fluency is not proper. The lecturers do not use any resources as a support for the explanation.

CONTENT OF THE LECTURE

BASIC (60% - 79%)


The content of the explanation is clear; nevertheless, the audience is not attracted to the topic because the lecturers did not use a good hook. The explanation is intelligible for the audience, but the lecturers do not have a good word stress and intonation. The lecturers use some resources (video beams, projectors, posters, etc), but the content of the explanation is written on it.

HIGH (80% - 93%)


The content of the explanation is clear and the audience seems interested; however, there is no discussion at the end of the explanation. The explanation is very understandable for the audience as they show a good word stress a proper fluency, but the intonation when emphasizing is not good. The lecturers use several resources with many pictures and diagrams, but they still have too much written information on them.

SUPERIOR (94% - 100%)


The content of the lectures is very clear and the audience is so interested on the topic, that they ask questions at the end of the explanation. The explanation is very intelligible for the audience and the lecturers show a great dominion of the language regarding word stress, fluency and intonation. The lecturers use several resources with many pictures and diagrams that are used as a support for their explanation.
