Things are really picking up speed. We haveseveral shoots coming up and a lot of funin store throughout the next month.Darren and some other mem-bers are holding a weekly 3Dleague. They meet at the range onThursdays at 5 pm, and shoot 20 tar-gets. The cost is $5 and it’s 100% pay-back, but you must attend 4 of the 6shoots. Call him to join in or show upon Thursday afternoons.After this league is over, how about a paper shoot league – anyone want to organize one?Our next club shoot is April 26

, and there’sa novelty shoot with that one. New club mem-ber, Mike Ross, also belongs to a slingshotclub, and thought it might be fun to do a freenovelty slingshot competition before, or after theclub shoot. He has a few slingshots that can beshared. If you have one, bring it, but make surethe band is still in good condition. If you haven’tshot it in awhile, you can get a new band atSports Authority for about $5. You’ll also want tobring eye protection if you have it.The next week, May 3

, GCA is hosting theTraveling 3D. Once again we will be having apot luck lunch. I’ll be calling members to find outwhat you can bring, and who can help serve.You don’t have to be competing in the Travelingportion to shoot the 3D event, so come on outand have fun.GCA is also going to host an ASA qualifier shoot on May 31

, so if you want to attend theclassic shoot in July, this is a good way to quali-fy.There will be work parties the Saturdays be-fore a shoot. On April 25

, we’re going to workon the Broadhead pit, the 20 yd. target, and setup for the club shoot. We’ll need a lot of help.May you always hit where you aim, and aimin the right spot!
