OBJECTIVES
1. Identify the economy of the Malay community in Sarawak and Singapore. 2. Identify the factors contributing to the economy of the Malay community in Sarawak and Singapore. 3. Compare the factors between the two countries.

RESEARCH PROBLEMS

1. The unbalancing economic development between natives


and non-natives is not clear as before.

2. The Malay community today is very different since the


time before and after the formation of Malaysia.

3. There is a wide difference in economic achievements


between the Malays in Singapore and Sarawak.

1. There are many factors contributing to the economic development of the Malay Community. However, researchers will focus on three major factors: Government Policy Education Attitudes, values and religion. 2. Specific Malay community in Sarawak
